Peter Bellamy has been taking portraits since he first picked up a camera. He learned to refine his craft from such greats as Orson Welles, Elliott Erwitt, Arnold Newman, and Louise Bourgeois. His work is published, exhibited and collected worldwide.

Two additional book projects are in progress: a collection of contemporary playwright portraits, and a study in black-and-white wilderness photography. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.
